Gujarat Titans delivered a commanding performance to beat Rajasthan Royals by 58 runs in the 23rd match of IPL 2025 at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Wednesday, climbing to the top of the points table.

Batting first, GT posted an imposing total of 217 for 6, driven by an 82-run knock off 53 balls from Sai Sudharsan. He was well supported by Shahrukh Khan, who struck a quickfire 36 off 20 deliveries, while Jos Buttler and Rahul Tewatia chipped in with valuable cameos.

Rajasthan Royals struggled in their chase, with only Shimron Hetmyer (52 off 32) and captain Sanju Samson (41) offering resistance. The rest of the batting order faltered against a disciplined Gujarat bowling attack.

Prasidh Krishna led the bowling effort with 3 wickets, while Rashid Khan and R Sai Kishore picked up two each to ensure RR were bowled out for 159 in 19.2 overs.

With the win, Gujarat Titans extended their strong run in the tournament and now sit at the top of the IPL 2025 standings.
