Masaba Gupta turned up the heat in her latest IDGAF dress paired with the biscuit bra and whip.
For fashion designer-actor Masaba, it’s all about body positivity, and she’s here to celebrate it at House of Masaba.
Masaba Gupta is a force of nature, and she definitely knows how to slay! Be it her design language or her acting prowess, this iconic woman knows what works best. The versatile designer rocked and shocked the internet on November 29th when she uploaded a series of bold, saucy and sexy images of herself in a black ensemble.
That’s the IDGAF [I Don’t Give A F**K] dress paired with a sexy biscuit bra and whip. But there’s more than meets the eye. Masaba wrote a heartfelt note on Instagram, talking about the ‘bikini body’ and the expectations to fit into one. Breaking stereotypes with some powerful words, Masaba shared: “I have finally come to the conclusion that there is no such thing as a bikini body. We all have it. We always had it. The bikini should be grateful to be on our bodies.”
The highlight of the bikini and whip adorned by Masaba were the creative motifs on them. If you have been following Masaba’s work, you can’t miss the iconic jewellery pieces she designs. The gold palm and gold toffee motifs The biscuit bikini was enhanced with these in an array of sizes.
Celebrating the motifs, Masaba said, “Over the last 14 years, House of Masaba has created a treasure chest of motifs that have found their way into your hearts and closets. Tonight, at the Vogue Forces of Fashion party, I am celebrating the motifs that made me who I am professionally.
Looking drop-dead gorgeous in the silhouette, it’s commendable how Masaba always has something new and chic up her sleeve. Styled by Dolla Baruah, Masaba accentuated her look with earrings from Renu Oberoi Luxury Jewellery and stacked bangles from Kismet-e-Kheer and Nien. Her makeup was done by Tarannum Khan, and her hair was styled by Hrishikesh Naskar. Capturing Masaba moond and aura one frame at a time was photographer Mourya Dandu. The style team also included Maanya Saigal, Varsha and Reeba Ahmed.
And like Masaba feels, ‘the IDGAF dress every girl should have’.
