Rahul Mishra’s collection, primarily in shades of black and grey, beautifully captured the depth and mystery associated with an individual’s aura. Describing his inspiration, Mishra shared on Instagram, “Each individual is perceived to have an aura which represents their electromagnetic field, similar to that of the earth, and their emitted vibrations that connect them to and facilitate their interaction with the rest of the universe.”
He further explained, “As one gazes into an infinite black sky, they ponder whether they are observing nothingness or an abundance of the unknown. According to theory, a jiva (living being) is a combination of three factors: body, mind, and soul, which together form an aura. This collection attempts to articulate, through couture clothing, how this omnipresent aura may interact with a living body, making it a vessel for a part of this energy and drawing greatness from it.”
Rahul Mishra and his wife, Divya Mishra, have been enchanting audiences with their creations on the Paris runway for years. There is anticipation that Mishra will showcase this collection at India Couture Week 2024 in New Delhi this July, bringing a touch of Parisian elegance to Indian fashion enthusiasts.
