To commemorate 25 years of Sabyasachi, Sonam Kapoor graced the occasion in a dramatic black ensemble by Sabyasachi.

The OG Queen of unconventional glamour, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja just brought her fashion A-game to Sabyasachi’s showcase.
Sonam’s Sabyasachi look was all about drama, drama and more drama. Embracing the dress code ‘Strictly Black’. Sonam’s three-piece couture ensemble featured a sequin pencil skirt, a sleeveless satin slip blouse and a voluminous feather jacket.
Looking straight out of an international editorial shoot, Sonam was styled by celebrity fashion stylist and her sister, Rhea Kapoor. Each element styled on Sonam complemented her personality. The shimmery sequin detailing on the skirt and the inside of the jacket added sparkle to her look. The surface texturing of the jacket adorned with fabric and feather detailing was dramatic couture we all crave for.
Even though the silhouette was western, Sonam brought the desi drama in with a royal, traditional necklace. The east meets west amalgamation resonates with Sabyasachi’s love for India and modernising it in his silhouettes.
The flawless smokey eyes by celebrity makeup artist Namrata Soni, the classic middle party hairstyle by celebrity hairstylist Hiral Bhatia and stylist Abhilasha Devnani’s styling assistance, made this a one of a kind style this fashion season. Sonam Kapoor who is brand ambassador of the French luxury fashion house Dior, completed her look with a Dior bag.
Rhea Kapoor took to Instagram to share a series of images of Sonam Kapoor in the opulent look. The images were captured by Farhan Hussain. Sonam has always experimented with fashion in a unique way. Every silhouette be it Indian or western, has celebrated Sonam and the designer with elan. This all-black ensemble as separates are perfect too and we can’t wait to see what Sonam has in store in 2025 in the fashion space.
