While 2024 has only just begun, Rene\u00e9 Rapp<\/a> has already taken the crown for most chaotic press tour. The Mean Girls<\/em><\/a> star has been praised for her completely \u201cunhinged\u201d appearances while promoting the musical adaptation of the 2004 film. Now, she\u2019s turned heads once again with another unexpected comment that she\u2019s \u201cageist\u201d.<\/p>\n During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen<\/em><\/a>, the 24-year-old actor brazenly admitted that she\u2019s ageist. <\/p>\n As she took part in a WWHL<\/em> segment, the Sex Lives of College Girls<\/em> actor shared that Real Housewives of Potomac<\/em> star Karen Huger was \u201cso funny\u201d to her – which comes as a surprise to her since she\u2019s \u201cvery ageist\u201d.<\/p>\n Host Andy Cohen questioned what she meant by calling herself ageist, asking Rapp: \u201cYou don\u2019t like older people?\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cYou just look down on older people? Or don\u2019t care for them?\u201d he added. The \u201cPretty Girls\u201d singer then doubled-down on her comments when she said: \u201cThe driving thing has got to go.\u201d<\/p>\n However, Rapp clarified that it mainly has to do with personal experiences she had in the past with older women. \u201cI just was always, like, the young one in situations and millennial women were always coming for me,\u201d Rapp explained. \u201cAnd I was like, \u2018Shut up\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n For fans who are familiar with Rapp\u2019s recent press tour antics, it seemed that her \u201cageist\u201d remark was made in jest. Many people took to X\/Twitter, to defend Rapp against critics \u2013 claiming that they simply don\u2019t know her sense of humour.<\/p>\n \u201cThey don\u2019t get her humour. It was clearly a joke,\u201d one user replied to the viral clip.<\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s clearly joking in this video,\u201d another person commented, while someone else wrote: \u201cEvery moment with her is so unhinged.\u201d<\/p>\n One fan insisted<\/a> that Rapp\u2019s joke \u201cdidn\u2019t land well\u201d, as another questioned<\/a> whether the Mean Girls<\/em> star was simply \u201ctrying to stay in character for Regina George\u201d during the bit. In one now-viral interview<\/a>, Rapp didn\u2019t hold back when she verbally annihilated a bus tour driver who was apparently mean to her friends.<\/p>\n \u201cThere is this man who owns a bus touring company. His name is Buddy and he is such an a**hole, and he was so disrespectful to my friends Priscilla and Bella, who I work with, and to my mother,\u201d Rapp said, as her Mean Girls<\/em> co-star Christopher Briney looked on in shock. \u201cIf you\u2019re watching this, I can\u2019t stand you, and I hope your business burns. You are so disrespectful and so misogynistic. I hate you.\u201d<\/p>\n While appearing on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert<\/em><\/a> last week, Rapp professed her longtime love for her Regina George predecessor, Rachel McAdams. As Colbert asked whether she had any \u201cnotes\u201d for McAdams, Rapp responded: \u201cAny notes? Date me?\u201d<\/p>\n Plus, when the Mean Girls<\/em> cast was asked to give their \u201cins\u201d and \u201couts\u201d for 2024<\/a>, Rapp took the opportunity to call out someone else who had wronged her. \u201cMy out first is the man that yelled at me this morning at 8am and told me to smile.
