Sindh Health Secretary Mansoor Abbas Rizvi has been accused of insubordination by Caretaker Health Minister Dr Saad Khalid Niaz in a letter to the provincial chief secretary which details the alleged frivolous behaviour the minister has experienced at the hands of the secretary. <\/span><\/p>\n

Dr Niaz highlighted that Rizvi’s attitude is impeding the achievement of goals he had set after taking office. Dr Niaz explained that an advertisement for the recruitment of 16 administrative-level contracts was published on July 29, 2023. <\/span><\/p>\n

A committee was formed on Sept 5, 2023, approved by the chief minister and initially led by the additional secretary. However, on Dec 12, 2023, a new committee was formed without Dr Niaz’s permission, raising concerns about the transparency and fairness of the recruitment process.<\/span><\/p>\n
