Post Malone has candidly revealed that his fianc\u00e9e turned him down the first time he proposed. <\/p>\n

The \u201cCircles\u201d singer, 28, bared all to Alex Cooper on Wednesday\u2019s episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast,<\/a> where he admitted that he\u2019d first proposed to his partner, who has not been publicly identified, two years ago.<\/p>\n

However, according to Malone, when he first popped the question two years ago, he had been \u201coff-my-rocker hammered\u201d and fresh off of losing a lot of money at a Las Vegas casino.<\/p>\n

However, that didn\u2019t stop him from attempting a proposal after he and his partner had left to return to their hotel room. \u201cI was like: \u2018Hey, you wanna marry me?\u2019 I got a ring and all this stuff. And she said: \u2018No.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Although his partner had said no at the moment, she was willing to give the rapper a second chance. He told Cooper: \u201cShe\u2019s like: \u2018Ask me tomorrow,\u2019 and I was like: \u2018All right.\u2019 And then I did, and I was sober, and it was nice.\u201d<\/p>\n

Post Malone, whose real name is Austin Post, was quick to clarify that he and his mysterious fianc\u00e9e have not married yet. <\/p>\n

The couple has, however, already welcomed their first child together. He revealed the news of both his engagement and fatherhood on The Howard Stern Show<\/em><\/a> in June 2022.<\/p>\n

He said on the SiriusXM show: \u201c[At] 2.30 in the afternoon, I went and I kissed my baby girl.\u201d Stern then asked: \u201cWhat baby girl? Are you referring to your girlfriend or you have a baby?\u201d<\/p>\n

The singer then clarified: \u201cNo, that\u2019s my daughter.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, the Grammy nominee also took the opportunity to gush about his partner, telling Cooper: \u201cI could tell \u2026 her heart is so massive. I\u2019ve always wanted kids and a big family. And I could tell she was going to be a really good mama. And she\u2019s, like, number one mom in the f***ing universe.\u201d<\/p>\n

He revealed that he had always known that she was his soulmate, and that having a child together only cemented that fact for him. Before his little girl was born, the artist had shared that he was \u201cpumped beyond belief\u201d to be a parent and was super excited to begin his \u201chot dad\u201d era.<\/p>\n

The \u201cSunflower\u201d singer has not disclosed the name of his child, nor the identity of his fianc\u00e9e, out of the desire to protect their privacy. He has notably led a quieter life after moving from California to Utah in 2019 and ending his three-year relationship with ex-girlfriend Ashlen Diaz in 2018.<\/p>\n

\u200b\u200b\u201cPeople wanted me to stay in LA – that\u2019s where the work gets done – but I was fed up,\u201d he told Billboard<\/a> in January 2022. \u201cThere\u2019s always something to do, and someone always wants something from ya – and I didn\u2019t want to go crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Post Malone also credits his fianc\u00e9e with steering him away from alcohol and helping him recover from a \u201crough\u201d rollercoaster battle with alcoholism.<\/p>\n

Now, the singer is focused on the grounded life he\u2019s building with his partner and looking forward to marrying her.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just have super beautiful people around me, and I met a really beautiful person that made me feel like a human being again. She saved my f***ing life – it\u2019s pretty epic.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
