Celine Dion<\/a> has shared a heartbreaking tribute to her late husband, Ren\u00e9 Ang\u00e9lil, nine years after his death.<\/p>\n

The 56-year-old singer<\/a> took to Instagram<\/a> on Tuesday (January 14) to mark the anniversary of her husband\u2019s death. Ang\u00e9lil died of throat cancer in 2016 at the age of 73.<\/p>\n

\u201cRen\u00e9, we can\u2019t believe you\u2019ve been gone nine years already,\u201d she wrote in the caption alongside a picture of them and their three sons. \u201cNot a day goes by that we don\u2019t feel your presence, RC, Eddy, Nelson and I.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued: \u201cYou were my greatest champion, my partner, and the one who always saw the best in me. I honor you and you are forever missed mon amour\u2026. We love you.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the picture, Dion and her family sat on a red couch, while she was wearing a white sweater and matching pants. She\u2019s seen smiling alongside her three children \u2013 Ren\u00e9-Charles, 23, and twins Nelson and Eddy, 18 \u2013 all of whom were also wearing white clothing.<\/p>\n

Many fans in the comments gushed about Dion\u2019s sweet tribute.<\/p>\n

Dion and Ang\u00e9lil tied the knot in 1994, three years after getting engaged. Since her husband\u2019s death, the\u00a0\u201cI\u2019m Alive\u201d singer has continued to honor his memory. In December, she shared a sweet snap on Instagram<\/a> from their wedding day as she celebrated their anniversary.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou still fill our hearts, every day. You are everything for us. We miss you so much,\u201d she wrote in the caption. \u201cHappy 30th anniversary, mon amour!\u201d<\/p>\n
