US Crypto Strategic Reserve:<\/strong> US President Donald Trump on Sunday said he directed the Presidential Working Group to move forward on a Crypto Strategic Reserve that will include Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH),\u00a0 XRP, Solana (SOL), and Cardano (ADA). Following the announcement, Bitcoin (BTC) jumped by over 10.48% to $94,144, Ethereum (ETH) by 12.68% to $2,472.67, XRP by 38.21% to $2.96, Solana (SOL) by 24.2% to $173.17, and ADA up by 62% to $1.02.<\/p>\n

\u201cA U.S. Crypto Reserve will elevate this critical industry after years of corrupt attacks by the Biden Administration, which is why my Executive Order on Digital Assets directed the Presidential Working Group to move forward on a Crypto Strategic Reserve that includes XRP, SOL, and ADA. I will make sure the U.S. is the Crypto Capital of the World. We are MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” US President Donald Trump said in a post on Truth Social.<\/p>\n

In another post, he added, \u201cAnd, obviously, BTC and ETH, as other valuable Cryptocurrencies, will be the heart of the Reserve. I also love Bitcoin and Ethereum!”<\/p>\n

Bitcoin recently fell below $80,000 amid Trump Tariffs after hitting its all-time high of $109,350 in January.<\/p>\n

On November 6, 2024, when Donald Trump won the US Presidential elections, Bitcoin crossed the $75,000-mark to hit its all-time high of $75,011.06, supported by significant inflows into exchange-traded funds (ETFs) amid reports of Donald Trump\u2019s gains in the US presidential elections.<\/p>\n

Bitcoin continued to surge after the Trump victory on a pro-crypto agenda and hit its peak of $109,350 in January 2025.<\/p>\n

Trump is hosting the first White House Crypto Summit on Friday. His family has also launched its own coins.<\/p>\n

What Is A Crypto Strategic Reserve?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A Crypto Strategic Reserve is a government-managed pool of major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), XRP, Solana (SOL), and Cardano (ADA), held as part of national reserves. Similar to how countries store gold or foreign currencies for economic stability, this reserve would help in financial security, crisis management, and supporting digital asset policies. It ensures the government has access to valuable crypto assets for future economic or technological use.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not clear how the new stockpile will be set up or work.<\/p>\n

According to Reuters<\/em>, analysts and legal experts are divided on whether an act of Congress will be necessary. Some have argued the reserve could be created via the US.<\/p>\n

Treasury\u2019s Exchange Stabilization Fund, which can be used to purchase or sell foreign currencies.<\/p>\n

Trump\u2019s crypto group had planned to look at potentially creating the stockpile with cryptocurrencies seized in law enforcement actions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
