Index-heavy stocks, including ARL, HUBCO, PSO, SNGPL, SSGC, MARI, MEB, MEBL and NBP, traded in the green.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On economic front, Pakistan\u2019s current account posted a surplous of $100 million in November 2025, data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) showed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Meanwhile, Pakistan\u2019s cargo transporters \u2013 including those operating between Karachi seaports and factories nationwide \u2013 called off the wheel-jam strike, stating that the government had agreed to address their demands, including increasing the time for \u201c20-feet long 10-wheel cargo vehicles\u201d to 19 hours a day on roads.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On Wednesday, the PSX witnessed a session of intense volatility as the downward movement was primarily driven by a backdrop of mixed investor sentiment and pronounced volatility, which triggered selective profit-taking after the index hit a historic intraday peak.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The index ended the day at 170,313.86 points, marking a marginal retreat of 133.44 points or 0.08%.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.suchtv.pk\/business\/item\/134465-pakistan-stock-exchange-marks-history-as-kse-reaches-2000-points.html\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Strong buying was witnessed at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), with the benchmark KSE-100 gaining nearly 2,000 points lifting the bourse to an all-time high on Thursday.
