‘Squid Game’ shares candid thoughts on S3 impact on fans

The season three of Squid Game trailer is here, and Lee Jung-jae, the lead star of the show, said he is nervous about anticipating what would be the fans’ reaction to the show.

In a chat with The Hollywood Reporter, he said, “We are going to be releasing quite soon, I am very nervous.”

The actor continued, “I know that a lot of you out there are curious about what’s going to happen in season three, but all of us are more curious about how much you’re going to enjoy it. So I can’t wait, I’m very nervous.”

Similarly, his costar, Lee Byung-hun, who plays enigmatic game leader Front Man, weighed in on his reaction to the ending, “I’m happy with how it ended but I know that the fans out there.”

“They each have what they want to see happen, so I really am curious about how they’re going to respond to it. And I’m very nervous to find out,” he said.

Squid Game season three will be out on June 27.
