Actor shares behind-the-scenes moments as she hinted at a heartfelt new project coming soon
Actor Aamina Sheikh has teased a new project, describing it as a life-changing story centred on a woman determined to build a better life while navigating unexpected challenges.
She shared a carousel of behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram, offering fans a glimpse into the upcoming production alongside fellow cast members Simi Raheel, Syed Mohammad Ahmed, Rimha Ahmad, Khalid Zafar and Nooray Zeeshan.
The photo dump featured Aamina reviewing her script with a bouquet of flowers nearby, getting touch-ups on set, Rimha and Nooray taking selfies, a portrait of Simi, and Ahmed posing with a cat perched on his shoulder.
Other images showed a framed Cristiano Ronaldo jersey and cast members playing football together.
In the caption, Aamina reflected on the experience of filming, writing, “Some stories don’t just entertain… They hold up a mirror. For the past few months, this wonderful bunch has quietly become family. Long days, countless cups of chai, laughter between takes, and hearts poured into every scene.
She added, “At the centre of it all is a woman determined to build a better life—but every step forward brings unexpected challenges, impossible choices, and moments that test the very people she loves. I can’t wait for you to meet her and all the beautiful characters that make up her world. I have a feeling they’ll stay with you long after the credits roll.”
The actor also hinted that the project will be released soon, saying one of the most rewarding parts of the journey had been having her children visit the set.
“One of the sweetest parts of this journey has been having my own little ones visit set and watch me bring this character to life. Seeing their eyes light up has made every long day worth it. Something very special is coming,” she wrote.
Fans were quick to welcome Aamina’s return to the screen after her lengthy absence.
One user commented, “Aamina Sheikh’s comeback in this economy??”, while another praised her enduring screen presence and recalled her days as a Miss Universe Pakistan contestant.
Others reminisced about some of her most popular television dramas. “Whenever I see you, the only things that come to my mind are the Maat, Jackson Heights, and Daam era,” one fan wrote.
Aamina most recently appeared in the television drama Case No 9, which marked her return to television after a seven-year hiatus.
